Amore Dynasty

The Amore Dynasty was the ruling family of the Crystal Empire both before and after the Founding of Equestria. Princess Amore was the first ruler of the Crystal Empire and ruled until she was overthrown by King Sombra. After the Empire returned from a thousand-year absence, Sombra was defeated and rule passed to Princess Cadance, a distant relative of Amore's line. She and her husband, Shining Armor, continued the line with their daughter Flurry Heart.
