Tony Fleecs

Tony Fleecs is an artist for IDW Publishing's line of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comics.

History

As of being interviewed for My Little Pony: Art is Magic volume 2, Tony Fleecs had admitted that he'd been drawing artwork for the last 18 years, and professionally for the last 12 and said he had to grow up in a city, but prefers a quieter and more peaceful life and currently resides in North Hollywood, California. He lives with his wife, Shannon and his kids.

He's admitted that his least favorite thing about drawing My Little Pony comics is making sure every character fits in the panel neatly, given My Little Pony being infamous for its huge extended cast, this is likely a huge problem indeed. He also claimed that he didn't like drawing bookshelves, and was annoyed by how much of the series seems to take place in libraries.

Likewise, he's admitted that his favorite thing about working on the series is how every artist has their own style, yet all still look like My Little Pony artwork, showing how well-defined the shows art direction is.

He said if he were a pony, his name would be "Pony Fleecs"
