The Holograms (band)
The Holograms was a band comprised of the Mane Six, minus Applejack. The band was shown to be very flashy, with a retro aesthetic and energetic style. An interesting aspect of the bands style was Twilight and Rarity both using the magic to keep Fluttershy and her drums afloat in the air.

Behind the scenes
The band was based off the fictional band "Jem and the Holograms" from the cartoon Jem which ran from 1985 to 1988 with 65 episodes. Jem is a Hasbro property and is apart of the Hasbro universe, along with Rom, Optimus Prime and Vector Prime.
This version of the band appeared on the San Diego Comic Con variant of Friendship is Magic #44. The same artist, Sara Richard, also made a cover for Jem and the Holograms #6.
