Three official manga were produced for ''[[My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic]]''. [[My Little Pony (Pucchigummi manga|The earliest]], was written and drawn by [[Akira Himekawa]] and was serialzed in [[Pucchigumi]], a Japanese girls magazine. The second official manga, ''[[My Little Pony The BOOK (Phase 6 manga)|The BOOK]]'', a prequel to the [[My Little Pony: The Movie (2017 film)|2017 film]] was produced by [[Phase 6]], a Japanese art studio that has special Japanese editions of the [[IDW Publishing]] comics in the past. The final one, and the only one released in English, was ''[[My Little Pony: The Manga]]'', by [[Seven Seas]], a manga publishing company.
