She has been professionally active since at least 2005, being the artist for Amazing Agent Luna, which lasted for 11 volumes, ending in 2015.[1] She became active with the My Little Pony franchise in 2019, being the artist for My Little Pony: The Manga (written by David Lumsdon), which lasted for three volumes before ending in 2021. Shiei also drew the art for Papercraft – The Mane 6 & Friends.
