Rarity is a unicorn mare from the Mirror Universe version of Equestria.
History
Prior to the Mane Six's journey into her world, she was wanted for various heinous crimes such as puppy hating and stealing candy from fillies. She hid away with bad hair in a hideout away from suspicion. She apparently exiled Spike for disliking her hair.
