Q was a persona used by Discord when he traveled with Apple Bloom on her spaceship in their battles against the wicked general Opalescence.
Behind the scenes
"Q" is not an official name for this persona, but is named as such due to the persona being a reference to Q from Star Trek, who was portrayed by John de Lancie, the voice actor for Discord.
