The creative team for ''Friendship in Disguise'' is primarily ''Transformers'' writers and artist. Of the three writers, only [[Ian Flynn]], who previously wrote ''[[My Little Pony: Feats of Friendship]]'' represents the ''My Little Pony'' side, with [[James Asmus]] and [[Sam Maggs]] being prominent writers for [[IDW Publishing]]'s ''Transformers'' series. In terms of artists, only [[Tony Fleecs]] represents the My Little Pony side, and does the cover art for all four issues thus far.
