Mean Applejack is an evil clone of Applejack created by Queen Chrysalis.
Biography
Made from a tree using one of Applejack’s hairs and a photograph of her, Mean Applejack was intended-alongside the other members of the Mean Six-to wield the Equestrian Elements of Harmony. Through their power, Chrysalis hoped to subjugate the Ponies of Equestria so that she could rule over them in place of the Changeling Hive, from which she had fled after the other Changelings embraced sharing love rather than stealing it.
Ultimately, the Mean Six were destroyed by the Tree of Harmony itself, which apparently recognized their counterfeit natures. In a burst of magic, the artificial ponies were seized, and then reduced to pieces of wood that retained their pony coloring. The Mane 6 never learned the truth about their doppelgängers and apparently dismissed the entire incident afterwards.
Personality
Due to the nature of her creation, Mean Applejack was exactly opposite in personality to the real Applejack. Whereas Applejack embodied Honesty, Mean Applejack was a pathological liar.
