King Leo is the kindhearted and gentle king of the realm of Aquastria and cousin to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

History

When the Mane Six and Spike arrived in Aquastria, Coral and Arrow took them to Nautilus Hall to meet Leo. When the Aquastria Race began, King Leo allowed Rainbow Dash to swim in the place of Coral after she was injured in an accident. After the race, Leo awarded both Rainbow Dash and Nar Wally for their performance and kind acts during the race.

Family

Template:Sparkle family tree Leo's exact relationship with the Royal Family of Equestria is unclear, but he is considered the cousin of Celestia. Whether this means by blood or by honor is unknown. The two are both known to sit on the mysterious Cosmic Council.
