Virginia "Ginny" McSwain is an American voice director and sometimes actress with a prolific career, currently going on 5 decades of experience. She's often been characterized by co-workers as hardworking and serious about her craft, so much so that the respect she's earned is hard to summarize.

McSwain worked as the voice director on My Little Pony. Due to how credits of Generation 1 My Little Pony media tended to be, she was credited under every single episode.

McSwain has sometimes been credited as the voice actor for Megan Williams, a claim that seems to lack any official backing by either herself or Hasbro, yet has appeared in high profile publications, such as TV Guide.[1]

In Transformers, McSwain became the namesake to Doctor McSwain.
