The "'''Era of Princess Celestia'''" defines the point in history from [[Princess Luna's banishment]] all the way until [[Mare in the Moon|her redemption]], nearly 1,000 years worth of history. It was proceeded by the much briefer "[[Era of Two Sisters]]" and suceeded by the even breafer "[[Era of Harmony]]". It is currently the longest defined period of history, outside of periods with unclear start and stop dates. Known for warfare, strife, rebuilding, education, high adventure and expansion, the era has left a mark on Equestria that will never go away.

At somepont during the Era of Princess Celestia, a unicorn named [[Snowfall Frost]] attempted to eliminate the holiday of [[Hearth's Warming]] by casting an alchemical spell. She was visited by the [[Spirit of Hearth's Warming Past]], the [[Spirit of Hearth's Warming Presents]], and the [[Spirit of Hearth's Warming Yet to Come]], the three working to convince her to stop the spell and embrace the holiday. After remembering how she was emotionally hurt as a child, seeing how much fun [[Snowdash]] and other [[Canterlot]] residents were having, and learning of how the [[Windigos]] would destroy [[Equestria]] without Hearth's Warming, Snowfall stopped her spell and joined in on the festivities.<ref>[[My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (TV series)|Friendship is Magic]] - "[[A Hearth's Warming Tail]]"</ref>
