Equestripedia is a database focused on all aspects of the ''[[My Little Pony]]'' franchise, its spin-offs, merchandise, and so on. What distinguishes this wiki from the FANDOM ''My Little Pony'' wiki and ''My Little Wiki'' is that we're a wiki dedicated to the '''entire''' ''My Little Pony'' franchise, with a focus on the media and as some have described, 'lore' of the franchise, whereas the former tend to be based exclusively on the 4th-5th generations and toyline respectively. |

Each entry of the ''MLP'' brand is covered on this equal as (in theory) much as anything else. As such, every subject from every official ''My Little Pony'' episode, book, game, comic, etc, no matter how obscure it may be to the greater franchise, is allowed on the wiki. |

In the 80s and 90s, Hasbro produced a number of toylines and even some media franchises that used the ''My Little Pony'' label. As such, their images, history, personality sections, ect, should only reflect how they're presented in the crossover. You can write about their history and characterization in the original properties in the "Behind the scenes" section, but it has to be kept brief. |
