Discovery Family is an American cable television network.

History

On April 30th, 2009, Hasbro would announce that they were partnering with Discovery Communications to relaunch Discovery Kids into a family-oriented TV network with programming based on Hasbro's IPs.[1] On July, It was announced that Margaret Loesch would be the CEO of the network.[2] The network is said to compete with Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network.[3]
