A small, but major aspect of the {{M|CS}} mythos was based around the universe and music of David Bowie. That aspect was the [[Diamond Dog]] lore. The name "Diamond Dog" itself is derived from his album, ''[[wikipedia:Diamond Dogs|Diamond Dogs]]''. Within the Diamond Dogs exist two legendary figures named [[Ziggy]] and [[Stardust]] respectively. The current [[Diamond Dog ruler|ruler of the Diamond Dogs]] is modeled after Bowie himself, though his persona seems starkly different than Bowie's.
