Curly Winds seemed to spend most of his free time hanging out with his best friend Wiz Kid. Curly and Wiz Kid didn't appear to be friends until {{FIM|Twilight Sparkle}} came to their world and indirectly had the two work together to fix up their gym. Their first known meeting was when Wiz Kid nearly fell off a latter while trying to hook up cameras and Curly helped him by holding his latter in place. Ever since then, the two developed a strong, and most likely romantic friendship.
