The Crystal Prep Friendship Games team was a rival sports team made to compete against the Canterlot High School Friendship Games team. Presumably around the same time or a little after the Friendship Games tryouts, they were being trained by Rommel. During this period, they were being spied upon by Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie in order to learn about the enemy, but alas the two were caught thanks to Dash's big mouth.
