After the {{IDW|[[Storm King}}]] had defeated [[Captain Celeano's crew]] in a skirmish, Capper and Chummer who had been aboard the [[Knife's Edge]] fled into the [[Bonedry Desert]] below and eventually came across [[Klugetown]]. It didn't take the two long to settle in what would later become their safehouse After Chummer betrayed Capper, Capper lived alone until the [[Mane Six]] eventually entered Klugetown.
 
Capper took the team into his house in an attempt to trap them so he could sell them to {{FIM|[[Verko}}]], but ultimately had a change of heart, but they escaped before he could show them.
