"Yo yo yo wut up. B Zax here. I made ponies." |
Bonnie Zacherle is the woman who is generally credited with the creation of My Little Pony. The details of her career seem somewhat hazy, but she worked on the brand from roughly 1981 to 1983, but freelanced with Hasbro in the mid 1970s. In the early to mid 2010s, Zacherle became active in the fandom, appearing at the 10th annual My Little Pony Fair and was the first inductee of the My Little Pony Hall of Fame. She would make later appearances at Big Apple Con in 2014, and 2016, Everfree Northwest in 2015, and BronyCon 2019. In 2016, she published My Lil Pony Tale, a book about the creation of the brand.
Outside of the brand, she is an illustrator and art teacher.
