A Black Hole is a phenomenon located in deep space. While the specifics of it are unknown, it could apparently suck in large objects around it.
Behind the scenes
A "Black Hole" is a cosmological event in which in real-life that happens when stars go super-nova. The pressure and gravity from such an event becomes so great that they bend space itself. Black Holes were only mentioned in "Star Crossed".
