Big Boy was a character created for [[IDW Publishing]]'s internal ''[[My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic]]'' continuity, first appearing in the pages of {{C|MS|2}}, created by [[Ryan K. Lindsay]] and [[Tony Fleecs]].
Big Boy is one of the more recurring comic-original figures in the [[IDW Publishing]] ''My Little Pony'' comics, especially if one takes in account his variations such as his Human version and his ancestors. If he's not the most recurring character, then he's at least the most recurring villain, along with his comrade, Runt that is. He made his debut in {{C|MS|2}}, but would continue to appear in the [[Nightmare Rarity arc|Nightmare Rarity]] storyline, the ''FIENDship is Magic'' mini-series (twice) and even appeared in the [[Equestria Girls]] storyline, "[[Happy Holidays]]".
