The Whispering Beacon was the oldest lighthouse in Equestria and was ultimately the residence of Lightning Rod. Though the structure was destroyed by Discord during the destruction of the entire town of Candlebright Cove, a spectral form of it persisted or perhaps, re-appeared during the "New" Equestria era.
