Water Lily appears to be the sister of Lily Pad, given her striking resemblance to her and the fact that she was often seen in the care of Victoria. Unlike Lily Pad, she seems to be more energetic, outgoing and playful, enjoying being at Canterlot beach with her mother. There, she was confused by Pinkie Pie's exuberant personality.
