One of the "characters that time forgot", Twist seemed to be shaping up to be a prominent character in CMC stories, but quickly faded away as other characters gained more depth and new ones were introduced. Indeed, Twist effectively became a background character by the end of [[Friendship is Magic season 2|season 2]] (though even several background characters have more screentime and dialogue then her) and her last speaking role was in "[[The Cutie Pox]]". She still appeared in various group-shots, usually with her class-mates but sometimes on her own, but didn't affect the plot.
She has been mildly more promient in spin-off material, though largely only appeared in shots with her classmates.
