The stake tree was a tree in the White Tail Woods.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders staked out in the tree after the trash they had just cleaned from the woods seemed to reappear. The three fillies took turns checking, playing games and sleeping until they could find the culprit—which they didn't until the following morning.
