'''Spikezilla''' was a {{FIM|dragon}} of prophecy. According to [[Granny Smith-obaasama]], he was to destroy [[Ponyville-cho]] unless a girl from [[Ponyville-cho High School]] stopped him. When he did attack, [[Applejack-san]] tried to stop him herself, but failed miserbly. She eventually managed to convince [[Twilight-san]] that her destiny was to defeat the dragon, but Twilight-san herself failed, even after becoming [[Magical Pony]]. Eventually with the help of the others, they stood a chance, but {{OELFIM|Discord}} got rid of the [[manga world]] before they could win.

He was originally {{OEL|Spike|regular ol' Spike}} but was transformed into a monster by {{OELFIM|Discord}}. [[A Day in the Life of Equestria volume 3 chapter 6|Later events]] seem to indicate that he either became a being in his own right following Discord's hijinks, or else had been one previously and was co-opted by Discord for his own amusement.
