Strangely, a character named '''M. Caramel''' is seen on a scoreboard. The most obviously answer is that this was to represent [[Caramel]]. However, the leaderboard otherwise only represents girls, not boys. There is a common fan theory that Caramel is a transgender pony, with [[Lauren Faust]] saying there was a transgender character in season 1. It is believed that [[Toffee]] is post-transition Caramel.

Since the leaderboard was strictly for girls sports, the obvious answer that it would be for an unseen ''[[Equestria Girls]]'' version of {{FIM|Caramel}} seem to be dashed, however there is a very small chance it's referring to the (all but jossed) [https://www.equestriadaily.com/2016/03/who-do-you-think-trans-pony-in-season.html fan theory that Caramel is a MTF trans pony.] The only other potential character this could be [[Toffee]], however, this is extremely unlikely as Toffee is an incredibly minor, nameless, background extra. To add further strangeness to this, there are two characters in ''Equestria Girls'' that resemble Caramel greatly, that being [[Teddy (CHS student)|Teddy]] and [[Sir Chance-a-lot]], both of which however, are males.
