Friendship is Magic #80 is an issue of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The sole story is titled Live-Action Role-Pony and is a tie-in with the Dungeons and Dragons franchise, another property of Hasbro. Though it features some D&D iconography and gameplay elements in the story, it is not a proper crossover.

Story
The Mane Six are performing a L.A.R.P. (Live-action role-play) session, with Pinkie Pie as the "Game Maker" (Dungeon/Game Master). The party consists of Rainbow Dash as "Recker" the a fighter, Fluttershy as "Shadowdance" the rogue, Applejack as "Calamity" the ranger, Twilight Sparkle as "Glitterlights" the mage and Rarity as "Rarity", the Cleric. The party is tasked with rescuing "The Prince" (portrayed by Bulk Biceps from the titular dragon.

With a prize of a cake being promised to the victor of the challenge, each pony attempts to save the prince individually, but soon fail and only complete the task by working together. Unforuantely, the cake was already eaten by Pinkie.

Notes
* The main cover depicts the Mane Six in different class roles and costumes, with the exceptions of Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle who are depicted as the same. Rainbow Dash is presumably a ranger, Applejack presumably a barbarian, Fluttershy presumably a druid and Rarity presumably a bard.
* Strangely, none of the established fans of role-playing appear in this comic. While it can be forgiven that obscure characters like Poindexter and 8-Bit are absent, Spike, Big McIntosh, Discord or Shining Armor not even getting a mention is strange.
** As seen in the neigh... anything arc (FIM-FIM), Twilight Sparkle would play at her brothers table as a filly sometimes however and in the Equestria Girls short "Queen of Clubs", Applejack briefly joined the role-playing club.
* In Dungeons and Dragons, the "Mage" has been renamed to "Wizard" in the 3rd edition onward.
