Cloudy Quartz, also known as Big Mama Q by Granny Smith is the matriarch of the Pie Family, mother of Maud Pie, Pinkie Pie, Limestone Pie and Marble Pie and wife of Igneous Rock.

As a child, Cloudy Quartz would let loose and get crazy, eating an entire bag of Rock Candy.[1]
