A clothing shop was an establishment that sold attire and fashionable goods. A more fancy term reserved for higher-end clothing shops was boutique.
Clothing shops were often found in big cities, such as Canterlot and Manehattan, with the former sporting places like Canterlot Fashion and the ladder having many shops like Pizzazz and various shoe stores.
A few clothing shops became chain businesses, such as Stinky Bottom's Discount Hat Emporium and Rarity's empire, the latter of which spread all the way into Yakyakistan.
