Cannibalism is the act of an individual of a species devouring the other, whether by ritual, murder, or survival or other possible methods. The Condestoga tribe may have been reported as cannibalizing their own or other members of their species (possibly ponies) as a book known as "Condestoga Cannibalism" was written and stored in the prestigious Royal Library of Canterlot.
In addition, Princess Celestia was known to have recipes for Soylent Green, and Spike was known to eat Soylent Emeralds, both references to cannibalism.
