Bemiller began his career in 1939 with work on the ''Yip Yip Yippy'' and ''The Fresh Vegetable Mystery'', both by Fleischer Studios. In the 1950s to 1960s, he animated ''Crusader Rabbit'', ''Dalvin and the Colonel'', and ''The Funny Company'', as well as director ''Popeye the Sailor'' shorts. Later in his life, became active with Depatie-Freleng Enterprises and animated several Pink Panther features.
