{{FIM|Twilight Sparkle}} and {{FIM|Spike}} are testing out Twilight's magical repetoire. Spike remarks that Twilight has the most magic out of any unicorn, and Twilight says that it's because her talent is magic itself. They overhear {{FIM|Snips}} and {{FIM|Snails}} heralding [[Trixie Lulamoon]], who they say is the most powerful unicorn ever; they, and the rest of the [[Mane Six]], go to Trixie's performance. Trixie issues a general challenge that "anything you can do, I can do better;" she humiliates {{FIM|Applejack}}, {{FIM|Rainbow Dash}}, and {{FIM|Rarity}}, and when Twilight is challenged she runs away.
Spike argues with Snips and Snails about whose master is the more powerful unicorn. Snips boasts about Trixie's defeat of an [[Ursa Major]]; Spike says that he'd believe it when he sees it. Snips and Snails venture into the [[Everfree Forest]], wake up an Ursa, and are followed into town by it. Trixie is pathetic in her attempt to defeat the Ursa, and admits that she had made up the story about defeating one in the past. Twilight easily gets it to sleep, stating that it was actually an Ursa ''Minor''. Humiliated, Trixie runs away.
In her friendship report, Twilight writes that it's okay to use your special talents sometimes.
