The apocalypse would be an an event that would end the world, or be the result of a world that has already ended.

History

Obscure author Cesium Grande wrote of the apocalypse in her books, with Twilight Sparkle praising the books for not picking sides in who would ultimately survive the end of all things, with a Pegasus surviving with a band of others. At some point, Equestria itself may be either destroyed by, or integrate with, a race of Alien ponies, causing an apocalyptic event that changed the landscape of Equestria forever.
