Amethyst used to live in Canterlot, but has since moved to Ponyville.{{confirm}} For some time, she was deemed "The Best Organizer in all Ponyville", but after Twilight moved in, she began to chill out.<ref name = "Gameloft quote">[[My Little Pony (Gameloft)]] "''"The Best Organizer in all Ponyville" ...'til Twilight moved in. Since then, she's had to chill.''"</ref> {{OOU|In the Gameloft game, it's been shown that Amethyst lives with [[Walter]] and the "[[Earnest Bowler]]", however this may be apocryphal.}} Amethyst is one of the relatively few unicorns who live in Ponyville, alongside (formerly) Twilight Sparkle, {{FIM|Rarity}}, {{FIM|Snails}}, the [[Snips' family]] and half of the [[Cake family]], as well as a few others.
