Ursa Minor

Ursas major and minors are constellation-inspired and bear-shaped species, they reside deep within the Everfree forest.

Appearance: The ursa has the appearance of a bear but of enormous size, its skin is made of what can be supposed, a huge piece of sky with stars and a large one stuck on its forehead. Role in the series: The minor ursa appears in "stroad busters" of the first season, this appears when Snip and Snails venture into the Everfree forest to find her and take her to Trixie, however things turn out terrible when the ursa finds them and begins to chase them until they arrive To ponyville, Trixie makes an attempt to stop her but ended up failing in the attempt, however Twilight managed to use a lullaby and bring her back to her cave where her mother, an ursa major, cuddles her.

Role in the movie

An ursa minor appears during the Flashback of the song Open up your eyes by Tempest Shadow, where it emerges from the shadows and seriously attacks the harmless unicorn, leaving a scar on its eye and destroying its horn. Trivia: The minor Ursas are inspired in constellations
