Template: Comic series is a template designed to render comic book series on articles, rather than single comic book stories or issues. The following is the parameters of the template, and why they should be used. A clean version of the template can be found here:

Parameters

Parameters	Output	Function	Note
name=	N/A	title of the series	do not include the My Little Pony or Equestria Girls part of it
image=	N/A	displays image	can be formatted as you wish
initial release date=	Initial release date	displays the release date of the first issue	format with {{ES}} instead of {{D}} (same syntax)
length=	Length	number of issues, anthology series get number of issues are instead listed with "issue count" + "story count"
collected=	Collected	volumes the comic has been collected within.
artist=	Artist	artists who worked on the series, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Artists}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
writer=	Writer	writers who worked on the series, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Writers}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
colorists=	Colorists	colorists who worked on the series, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Colorists}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
letterist=	Letterist	letterists who worked on the series, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Letterists}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
cover=	Cover	artists who worked on the series' covers, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Cover artists}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
editor=	Editors	editors who worked on the series, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Editors}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
publisher=	Publisher	publishers who worked on the series, if the series was long-running, instead use {{H|Publishers}} to link to the anchor link for staff.
