The <b>Changeling invasion of Canterlot</b> was a major event during the [[Era of Harmony]] during which [[Queen Chrysalis (Friendship is Magic)|Queen Chrysalis]] and the [[Changeling|Changelings]] invaded [[Canterlot]] in an attempt to seize control of love in [[Equestria]] to feed the [[Changeling Hive]]. The invasion began with Chrysalis infiltrating Canterlot and kidnapping [[Princess Cadance (Friendship is Magic)|Princess Cadance]], enabling her to take control of [[Shining Armor (Friendship is Magic)|Shining Armor]] and allow the Changelings into Canterlot.
