Mount Monument

Mount Monument was a structure located on a mountain in Northwest Equestria that contained the masterfully crafted stoneheads of the Four Princess of Equestria, although Twilight Sparkle was a relatively new addition.

There was a petition to get Queen Chrysalis on the monument as well, but the only signer was Chrysalis herself. Sweetcream Scoops, Lucky and Binoculars visited the monument as Rarity crashed the Gyro-Flyer into the nose of Princess Luna.

Behind the scenes

Mount Monument is based off of Mount Rushmore, the real-life structure located in South Dakota, United States of America. The monument first appeared in the "Reigns, Trains and Cartwheels" in which Rarity crashed into the nose of Princess Luna, parodying the iconic scene from North by Northwest.
