The "Griffon continent" was a large continent or island located north of Dragon-Kirin island and east of the Central continent. The two prominent species who inhabitant the land appear to be Griffons and Bugbears. Although Arimpasi have appeared in the lands, they are native to Equestria. The only known kingdom on the continent is Griffonstone, which also serves as among the only known cities.
