Comet Tail is a Unicorn Pony also known as Comet Tail the Starry-Eyed.

History

At some point, Comet Tail founded Magical Counsel of the Ancients, a group of ponies dedicated to the protection of magical artifacts. Among these were the Half-Gilded Horseshoe, which Comet Tail himself used to create a concealing spell that protected the city of Cirrostrata. Comet Tail was also the namesake of “Comet Tail's Curse” a malady that supposedly afflicted unicorns who botched the work of altering the spells of another unicorn. Comet Tail also cast the Shield of Wisdom upon the town of Bales as a means of protecting the many books to be found there. Unfortunately, due to a mistiming of his casting, the city became invisible to the outside world.
