A burger is a type of sandwich that typically contains cooked feat as opposed to cold or heated meat.

Burgers in the human realms were served at a handful of restaurants and cafeterias. In the the human realm, burgers tended to be served with either beef, or a beef-like substance (though the type of meat has never been confirmed) but what appeared to be tofu and veggie burgers weren't unheard of either. In the pony realm, burgers are served with non-meat products, like hay or oats.
