The Summerfell Festival was a festival celebrated in Ponyville, Equestria. The festival was apparently a pretty big deal as even the Wonderbolts showed up to compete. The festival seemed to be a series of pegasus flight tricks, stunts and other spectacles. However, the festival was interrupted when Runt and Big Boy showed up and created a storm that instigated the Cloudgate event. The resulting ordeal the two imps put Ponyville through was so bad that it was reported on PNN, Equestria's largest (and only) known television news broadcasters.
