'''Sheep''' are a species of hoofed mammal known to inhabit [[Ponyland]] and [[Equestria]].

==Biology==
In Equestria, sheep are seen with pink skin and white and black wool, with rams often being black with horns. These sheep are shown to be capable of speech, objecting to being herded into a pen instead of being asked if they would enter it. Sheep native to the [[Crystal Empire]] have purple skin with wool in various shades of purple, blue, and pink, and are not known to be capable of speech.

In both Ponyland and Equestria, the most exceptional Sheep is the giant blue ram [[Grogar]]. Each version of Grogar is considerably larger than a normal adult pony, covered with blue wool and with large, curving horns. All versions of Grogar have demonstrated the ability to use magic, though it typically seems to come from magical artifacts rather than Grogar himself. Grogar is also very long-lived in his various incarnations, demonstrating a lifespan ranging from centuries to millennia.
