Geology is the research of the physical world, particularly that of rocks, minerals, and other non-living natural aspects of the world. A geologist is someone who professionally works in the field of geology. Throughout My Little Pony, the field of geology has played very little, but has shaped some of the background in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as Maud Pie and some associated characters are geologists or have similar fields.
