The Canterlot forest was a lush forest located near the summit of Canterlot Mountain in Central Equestria. Its water was supplied by the Canterlot river.
After the Fall of Canterlot, after Twilight Sparkle's spell destroyed the bridge her friends were all, they all fell into the Canterlot river. After deciding to quest towards the Land of the Hippos, they trekked into the forest.
