Although My Little Pony is a kid-friendly franchise, murder has sometimes came up, although it's rarely addressed as such. For simplicity sake, this article will list all the willing incidents in which a character has caused the death of another character, or has attempted to do so. In addition to these, incidents in which murder was implied or threatened will be listed.

My Little Pony 'n Friends

• Implied/threatened: Tirac threatened to decapitate Spike.
• Possible death: The Jewel Wizard who appeared in "Applejack's Amazing Adventure" fell "to the edges of the Earth", though it's never confirmed if was killed in this event.

Tales

• Fictional/mythical: In "Slumber Party", Bazzle killed Squire and another knight by destroying ground beneath them. An unknown amount of years later, the ghost of Squire still hunts for Bazzle. It's unclear if these events were real, but were implied to be so.
• Fictional/mythical: In "Ponies in Paradise", the ponies thought the residents of Tropical Island were cruel, cannibalistic ponies who often cooked and ate other ponies or threw them in a volcano. These was proven to be false, however.

Friendship is Magic

• Intended: Fume and Clump both attempted to smash phoenix eggs, but were thwarted. Due to the magical nature of the show, it's unclear if this would have actually killed the phoenixes or not.
• Implied/threatened: Stygian made many claims of the potential deaths of his friends, stating that he "destroyed" Starswirl and potentially may have caused an "accident" in a volcano that ended the life of Rockhoof.
