Me being trans is not exactly a hidden fact, but it's something I aggressively try to avoid talking about, for a few reasons. While I'm not ashamed of it by any means, I just don't like labeling myself as a 'trans' woman, I am a woman, but also, being trans is not really apart of my personality. I think a few of my friends put it well, 'Amelia isn't just the trans person, she's a woman who watches way to much Family Guy and Transformers' and I think that's fair. Anyway I'm going to talk about myself being trans or an uncomfortable amount of time for everyone involved.
