This town was a place located near Tumbledown Mountain. It may have been Ponyville (see here)
Behind the scenes
Due to the nature of the story, being an RPG story given the Game Master full control over the narrative, the description for the location states that the town may be Ponyville, or another town entirely and the language when describing the town was quite vague. The graphics used however appear to be shots of Ponyville and some of the characters depicted are Ponyville residents, such as Derpy and Nurse Redheart.
