The Observer is a mysterious pony who no matter when he appears, appears to be the same age, even in vastly different time periods. He appears to have special powers, such as longevity, the ability to teleport without making a sound and a level of knowledge of the Multiverse and cosmic happenings of Equestria that not even Twilight Sparkle knows of.

History

Following the adventures of the six

As the Battle for Ponyville wrapped up and the Mane Six saved the kidnapped ponies, he was present among the crowd.

After the Battle of the Secretariat Comet, Binoculars watched the Mane Six, Cutie Mark Crusaders and Princess Celestia as they slept together and told stories of their grand adventures.

Beyond Equestria

Binoculars was present during the Sacking of Panthera while staying in Yarn, eyeing Capper and Chummer.
